Tai Chi & Qi Gong Classes

T'ai Chi Chuan, a beautiful and graceful martial art becoming well know for it's health benefit, is offered at Inner Strength. QiGong literally means 'Energy Practice' and is an exercise and breathe work program designed to help the body relax and rejuvenate.

Our T'ai Chi/QiGong class blends both traditional forms from the Yang and Chen style T'ai Chi, with qigong exercises from various traditions and schools. The class format allows both a new beginner as well as a life long practitioner to find value in practice time, and new information. Classes provide the student with many exercises, breath work, and meditation practices to take home and implement in their daily life to achieve a lasting health benefit.

This class is appropriate for all ages (however, small children under the age of 12 may find it's slower pace, quiet meditations, and repetitive practice boring) The T'ai Chi / QiGong program is appropriate for students of all levels. New students should call prior to attending their first class, to verify that there is currently space in the class. Weather permitting, classes are sometime held outdoors on our 30 acre retreat center property at Inner Strength to fully enjoy nature while working on t'ai chi and qigong routines.

Class time consists of form practice in T'ai Chi, QiGong exercise and mediation as well as discussion on medical QiGong exercise theory.

Meditation Class

Meditation allows you to step away from the everyday chaos and give yourself time for peace, tranquility, while improving your health. Meditation is an effect form of stress management.

Our meditation classes are not religion based, so whatever form or religion or spirituality you practice is encouraged.

This class is appropriate for all ages (however, small children under the age of 12 may find it's slower pace, quiet meditations, and repetitive practice boring)
